Take on a territory-based manufacturing license for Garage ILL's FRP custom car products. Producing locally — rather than importing finished kits order by order — can help reduce repeated freight, import handling, and long lead times. Exact territory, product coverage, and exclusivity are confirmed through review and agreement.
Check Territory Availability → Explore Products ↓Manufacturing license applications are open for selected product lines. Availability and scope are confirmed individually after review.
Territory availability is limited and reviewed by product line, market, and applicant profile.
Two ways to bring these products to your market — compared.
Garage ILL was founded in 1993 by Akira Matsuura in Habikino, Osaka. What began as a custom paint and vehicle fabrication shop — covering everything from lowriders to sports builds — later began developing FRP body kit product lines. Garage ILL handles the planning, design, development, and fitment refinement of these product lines, refining each through repeated fitment on real vehicles before public release.
Garage ILL has publicly presented its vehicles through shows and media projects.
When trying to reach some overseas users and businesses, shipping finished kits order by order can make cost, lead time, and import handling heavy. That is why we are developing a manufacturing-license model — working with qualified local partners who can produce and sell responsibly in their own market. We share Garage ILL's design, development experience, and quality standards within the scope defined in each agreement.

Concrete deliverables. Confirmed in writing before signature.
| Production / Manufacturing Assets | Manufacturing molds and related production assets for your chosen product line, as defined in the agreement. Shipping terms (Incoterms, freight, duties, insurance) are confirmed in the agreement. |
| Territory Rights | Manufacturing and sales rights for your product line within an agreed territory. Whether the rights are exclusive, the exact territory, product coverage, term, and conditions are confirmed through review and agreement. |

Exact scope and deliverables are confirmed in writing before signature.
Developing a body conversion product from zero involves planning, prototyping, tooling, fitment, and repeated refinement. Starting from an existing Garage ILL product line helps reduce that development burden.
| Phase | What's Involved |
|---|---|
| Design & Planning | Vehicle study, exterior styling direction, design planning, and product development preparation |
| Prototype Fabrication | Prototype or test piece creation, depending on the project |
| Tooling Preparation | Preparing molds or production tooling for the applicable kit components (grille, bumper, panels, mounting areas, etc.) |
| Fitting & Rework | Test fitment on actual vehicles — gap alignment, trim adjustments. Multiple rounds typical. Adjustments may require revisiting earlier steps. |
| Launch Preparation | Public presentation and launch preparation, depending on the project |
| Total (one product line) | Scope expands significantly when the product includes more than a front conversion, such as rear or full-body components. |
Timing varies by product scope, vehicle condition, tooling requirements, and rework.
This is a business-level manufacturing license program — not a retail body kit purchase. It's designed for established automotive businesses with the structure to produce, finish, and deliver finished products to customers in their market.
We respect everyone's time. Detailed business plans and market projections are discussed during the video conversation — not in the application itself.
Six steps from application to production in your country.
A short application — about 5 to 7 minutes. Applications are reviewed individually, and selected applicants will be contacted to schedule a video conversation.
This program is reserved for established automotive businesses with hands-on production capability. Submissions without verifiable past work, FRP / painting access, or a clear business intent may not proceed to the next review stage.
